I am Rodney, a real estate professional. I am married to a beautiful and ambitious wife who enjoys all aspects of property development. We have two wonderful sons who are into sports. My family is one of the most important things in my life, and I consider myself extremely lucky that they are healthy and happy.

I love playing soccer and table tennis, watching movies, reading non-fiction books, and traveling. One bit of trivia about me is that I am an identical twin!

I have 10 years of experience as a commercial and residential real estate appraiser, realtor, and property manager. I have been involved with multi-million dollars worth of projects, both residential and commercial. I am lucky enough to have a great support network that helps me keep abreast with the changing real estate market conditions.

I am a qualified and experienced Real Estate Agent who is striving hard to help my clients achieve their dreams by providing them with excellent service at all times. My experience has taught me that selling or buying your dream home is one of the most important decisions you will ever make, and it should be taken just as seriously as if you were purchasing a car or planning on going on vacation! With close to 10 years of experience working closely with some of the world’s biggest property companies, I have gained a great deal of knowledge on how to help my clients achieve their goals. This is what I love doing, so being part of the property market, whether it is as an agent, analyst, or consultant has been extremely rewarding.

I have always wanted to work in real estate and found that the best way was to make use of my excellent communication skills and strong business acumen. I can easily talk with people from all walks of life and gain insights into their needs and wants. With this insight, it’s easy for me to match them up with their dream homes or commercial spaces.

I am excited to start this blog about real estate primarily because I enjoy writing and I enjoy learning new things, which both happen to be integral parts of blogging. Also, my particular profession is an interesting one because it has many opportunities for anyone who likes working with people, like myself.

I appreciate the idea behind this website because blogging allows us all a chance to share our experiences and knowledge with others. As much as we can learn from each other, there’s just no substitute for firsthand experience! My goal here at rodneydos.com is primarily educational, but I also hope to entertain and inspire.

I am a little nervous to get started, but that’s only because blogging is something that many people take very seriously. It’s not just another bullet point on your resume! However, I do know from experience that “a watched pot never boils” (or in this case, a blank page never fills up). Starting early helps me to build momentum and refine my process so it becomes more streamlined as time goes on. There’s no better way to learn than by doing!
